I personally have very high standards in any aspect, and this reflects in my hand painted furniture. I paint each piece with
great care, taking many hours to produce a painted finish to the highest quality possible. I always brush paint rather than
the usual spray or rolling method as I believe this makes for a true hand finished product. The furniture is always lightly
sanded to ensure maximum adhesion and to remove any roughness before each new coat of paint is applied. Each piece is finally
waxed, varnished or polished for extra protection and a smooth to touch finish.
All my furniture is hand built to order
by a local tradesman, in pine wood taken from sustainable forests. The pieces are chunky, heavy and solid and completely
individual.
I can paint any colour of your choice in plain or duel and a distressed finish can be applied using
either a two colour or an ageing method. If you wish I can match colours for you. All you need to do is send me a swatch
of the colour(s) required and I’ll return it to you with a sample(s) of painted wood for your approval.
Any style of
furniture can mostly be ordered, made to any size, and as all my pieces are ordered in this way there will normally be no
extra costs incurred for bespoke items. In addition, if you like any of my furniture, but wish to have other pieces made
in the same style and finish then this is a simple process and would normally take a maximum of 8 weeks to have delivered
to your door.
